About the Role:
As Project Executive, you will lead the execution of one or more large-scale alternative delivery projects, including highways, bridges, airports, and civil works. This senior leadership role focuses on delivering projects successfully while fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for multiple large-scale projects.
- Oversee planning, execution, and closeout processes to meet or exceed project objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, design teams, and project partners.
- Lead pre-construction activities, including budgeting, cost estimation, and risk analysis.
- Manage financial performance, including cash flow, forecasting, and cost controls.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Negotiate change orders and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation across all phases of the project.
- Mentor and develop project personnel, building a high-performing team.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 15+ years in construction project management, including 10+ years in alternative delivery projects.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects exceeding $100M, including joint ventures.
- Technical Skills: Strong expertise in design-build, CMAR, progressive design-build, and similar delivery models.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Certifications: Professional Engineering License (PE/P.Eng) preferred.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, contract negotiations, and claim management.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and drive teams to success.
